Olympic Winter Games Milano-Cortina 2026

The Olympic Winter Games return to Italy after 20 years. For the first time, the Games will be officially hosted by two cities: Milan for the ice disciplines (ice hockey, figure skating, short track at San Siro and Mediolanum Forum), and Cortina d'Ampezzo for alpine ski competitions, bobsleigh, and luge. Additional venues include Bormio and Livigno (freestyle, snowboarding, men's alpine skiing), Val di Fiemme (cross-country skiing, ski jumping), and Anterselva (biathlon). Ski mountaineering will debut as an Olympic discipline. The opening ceremony will take place in the legendary San Siro Stadium, and the closing ceremony in the ancient Arena of Verona.
