Fête du Citron Menton 2026

The Fête du Citron is a unique event: Nowhere else are lemons and oranges transformed into massive works of art. The theme for 2026 is "Les Merveilles du Vivant" (The Wonders of Life). In the Jardins Biovès, sculptures up to 11 meters high are created, with each individual fruit attached by hand using rubber bands. The golden parades (Corsos des Fruits d'Or) take place on Sundays at 2:30 PM, with illuminated night parades on Thursdays. In parallel, the Orchid Festival and a craft market are held in the Palais de l'Europe. At the end of the festival, the citrus fruits are sold at a discount to visitors. By the way, the Menton lemon is a protected specialty – sweeter and more aromatic than ordinary lemons.
