Casa di Barbara
Between sea and mountains. On the border with France. In the heart of a medieval village.
Decide anew every day
Airole is located exactly where the Alps meet the Mediterranean. From here, you can reach everything - without having to commit.
Three floors, one home
Casa di Barbara spans three floors of a historic building. Vaulted ceilings, a fireplace in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen - and at the top, the rooftop terrace with panoramic views.
98 square meters total - 82 m² living space plus 46 m² terraces. In the heart of the village, 50 meters from the piazza.
The place where every day begins and ends
The rooftop terrace is our favorite place.
In the morning, when the sun comes over the mountains and the coffee steams. In the evening, when the light turns golden and a glass of Rossese from the neighboring valley is the right accompaniment.
The view goes over the roofs of the village to the mountains. On clear days you can sense the sea. At night you see more stars than you thought possible in the city.
Up here you understand why we chose this place.

Good to know
Where Italy kisses France
Airole is not a tourist resort. It is a village where people live - since the Middle Ages. The alleys are narrow, the stairs steep, the houses built from the stone of the mountains.
On the piazza, people meet for espresso. The supermarket has everything for daily needs. The three restaurants cook Ligurian - with olive oil from the valley and wine from the slopes opposite.
The French border is ten kilometers away. But you don't really feel it. The region has always been an in-between space, where Italian lifestyle and French charm intermingle.
What our guests say
"We wanted to be able to decide every day what we felt like doing. Mountain, beach, city - everything was possible. And in the evening back to the terrace with that view."
"The apartment is a dream. And Irene welcomed us so warmly, as if we were coming to friends."
"We've been coming for three years. Airole is our secret tip - and the rooftop terrace our second living room."
